Well this week was one of those weeks that just FLEW by and was great but nothing too exciting happened. We did TONS of service this week for members, which is way fun. We help a sister clean a house before she got surgery and then we helped another sister clean out her basement (I will send you a picture). It was way fun. And we learned lots about food storage. haha
Things with Iris, Lutgarda and Xionely are about the same. We thought for sure that all of them would make it to church this sunday...but none of them made it. LAME. But what can you do, everyone has their own agency. So ya.
OKAY, I HAVE 2 WONDERFUL MIRACLES.
1. The first transfer here in Capelle one of the less active members had her friend over from Brazil and we were about to talk with her and have a great time and she even came to church. She then left after 2 weeks. Thought nothing of her. Then last week one of the Portuguese elders got an email from a sister missionary in Brazil saying that that lady and her son had been coming to church and that her son is getting baptized! He got baptized last week. SO cool huh? Small and simple things can make a HUGE difference.
2. Today I got an email for one of my favorite people in Almere, Zuster Walle. When we were there we had asked her to think of someone she could share the gospel with and she told us a name and said that she would invite her over and then have us come over. It never worked out. In fact zr Walle was doubting that she was the answer to her prayer. BUT she got a message from that lady last week saything that the lady was going to pick zr Walle up for church and they were going to go together. She ended up LOVING church and is so excited to learn more. Only the Lord knows the WHEN and the HOW. Yet again, through small and simple things are great things come to past.
Zr Brophy got bit by a mosquito on the eyelid...haha super funny. I'll send a picture haha
In the end everything was great this week. I am just enjoying myself. This is the work of the Lord. AND HE NEEDS OUR HELP! So lets help Him out. I am so excited for Kristy to start this new phase in her life. She is going to have a blast (but don't have too much fun without me) haha and I am excited to see pictures and everything. Please be safe. I love you guys more than anything.
The church is true.
Love you and miss you,
Zuster Kohlert
